Textile Design

Exploration

This project investigates the relationship between material, structure, and digital design in textiles. Through hands-on experimentation with fabrics and their properties, combined with digital tools, layered fabrics were shaped into new material compositions.

Conventional pattern-making was replaced by advanced weaving techniques that construct multiple, stacked, and interwoven layers within a single production step. Garments designed through this method were used to explore waste reduction while introducing new aesthetic and structural possibilities. In the visualizations, the colors indicate the four layers of the same fabric that together form the trousers.
