This project explores the theory and production techniques of composite materials, examining how their properties can influence product performance. These principles were applied to a case study: a skateboard deck, which was designed to reduce wheelbite through curving coupling effects. The process involved predicting the material’s behaviour, manufacturing a prototype, and evaluating the design through testing.
